5 Card Stud
With 5 Card Stud there are different variations but one of the most popular is played this way. First the game begins with an ante. Then, two cards are given to each player—one facing up and the other facing down. Then, the first betting round begins. The round starts with a bring-in bet that is forced on the player with the lowest value up card. Then, a third card is given—face up. A second betting round begins with the player showing the best hand. The following betting follows the same rules. At the end, the pot is awarded to the player who has the highest ranking hand. The second betting round starts with the player showing the best hand. All subsequent betting rounds follow the same rule.
7-Card Stud Poker
Then, there is 7-Card Stud Poker. With this game the player is given two cards—one faced up and one down. Next, a round of gambling takes place. After that, there are three more rounds where each player is dealt one card up and then another round of gambling. The seventh card is given face down and there is one more round of gambling. Once this process is finished, all hands are shown and the gambler with the best hand wins the pot.
