The Biker Uniform

Some men wear business suits, but some men don't have jobs that require that. They may prefer the biker look. Of course, some businessmen wear biker clothing on the weekends, too, when they're taking a break from work and enjoying the open road. If you're going to be a biker, or at least be safe and comfortable on your bike, there are some articles of clothing you really must own.

Protect Your Body from the Elements

Men who ride bikes often have a "biker uniform" of sorts. They wear jeans, generally, but some of them use chaps or leather pants. These can be warm and uncomfortable, but they can also protect them in the event of an accident. Asphalt can tear through clothing pretty quickly, but it takes longer to get through leather. A leather jacket and gloves are also good choices, and part of the uniform that many bikers wear in order to keep themselves safe.

Don't Forget Your Feet and Head

Even if your state doesn't have a helmet law, it's important that you wear a helmet for your protection. Many bikers are killed each year who might have survived if they'd been wearing their helmets. You also have to consider your feet. You don’t want to ride a bike in sandals, because the risk for a problem is too high. Boots are always the best choice, and if you don't have boots you should wear good, strong tennis shoes that won't slide.

Some shoes are slick on the bottom, and you really want to avoid those as part of your biker uniform. It's too easy to fall that way, and you don't want to get hurt. Wear good shoes and protective gear and clothing, so you can stay safe on the roads. Are you looking for men's clothing?
