Most people at the end of each year are workout, unhealthy, and need to make changes in their diet and exercise. This means at the beginning of each year is a great time to start a new health plan.
Needing to lose a few pounds
Poor diet and exercise means a few pounds might have crept up on you over the last year. That is okay, it just means time for a change. If you have the willpower to make the changes yourself, then you might consider a daily log just to see how your progress is going. A log will tell you whether or not you are doing okay alone.
I definitely need help
That is great to hear, and do not worry. Weight Watchers is a wonderful organization with trained professionals that can help you get the results you need, but also give you a wonderful support team to help you through the bad times. That could be all you really needed to begin with is just some support and encouragement.
