It can even be embellished with studs, stars and bling. The best feature of a biker jacket is that they are form fitting, but can be a short jacket, ending at the waistline, or as long as a duster coat. They have been seen on the runway in long or three-quarter length sleeves. Sometime a long sleeve is best worn squished up toward the elbow. Recently motorcycle jackets have been seen in sleeveless designs, giving them a very sexy corseted look.
Gloves – Don’t leave home this season without your biker gloves. They are the go-to, must-have accessory. Many have been seen with large cut out patterns on the hands, knuckles or palms area. Some have metal fingernails attached to the end of the fingers. Cut out finger tips seem to be a leading feature, while others snap at the wrist or have loops to carry cell phones or other accessories. No matter the design they are sleek and sexy.
Biker Booties – Alexander McQueen started this fashion forward design and it is hot, hot, hot. These heels are in all the stores and all over the Internet. Studded, chained and buckled booties are what every fashionista lusts for in biker wear this season.
Leather Bottoms – Oh my! Whether hot pants, a chic tight pencil skirt or a close fitting pair of slightly short slacks it doesn’t matter, but to be a biker lady at least one is necessary. Pair any of them with those booties and you’re the queen of motorcycle alley.
Bling – Don’t ride off on your bike without the proper accessories. Choker necklaces, ear rings, chunky bracelets add to the look. Some designers have added fur collars or small boas. Belts, again with all the metal accoutrements add a statement to any biker look. A pop of red, white and blue has been seen on models sporting biker fashion.
